Master Coda
On self and process:
“My self is my self, you know, and I try to be myself at all times instead of trying to be someone else or someone else’s sound or someone else’s idea.
I mean you get inspiration but, you know, your ideas are yours. No one can take that from you.
To be honest, I don’t really have a process. I do the best that I can do in anything that I do and that’s it.”
The mellow debut single, “Throw Dat” has heavy Cali vibes while also hitting on early 2000’s RnB energy. I can practically picture the all white outfit (jeans, tank, and durag) in a brown room while he dances around a busty lady who is sporting a lollipop as if it’s an accessory.
As he says, “Not the type to push it but it’s pressing on my mind.” Insert girly giggle from leading lady here.
