Koffee in ‘Lockdown’
Grammy winning reggae artist, Koffee, just released ‘Lockdown’, a song expressing the Jamaican entertainer’s thoughts about what she’d like to do after this Coronavirus pandemic is behind us. The song is catchy and awakens a desire to get outdoors and have fun. Relatable to say the least.
The song shows a more mature and romantic side of Koffee. She speaks of an individual who she desires to have a relationship with and have a fun time together outdoors when “when dis quarantine ting done.” Given the controversy surrounding Koffee’s sexual orientation, many of her fans are trying to figure out who she is referring to. We wish her love regardless.
The song was released along with a music video that completely captures the vibe of the song. The music video features cameos from Popcaan and Dre Island.
From the onset of the current Coronavirus pandemic, concerts, party life and other fun gatherings have been placed on time-out. Koffee’s ‘Lockdown’ gives us a vision of a happy future.
